Issues

Future Priorities and Goals:
• Support downtown revitalization.
• Promote Bethel Corridor/ Mile Hill annexations.
• Support our police in the fight against drugs/ crimes.
• Pursue additional funding to improve traffic and mobility: streets, especially Tremont Street and Bethel Ave.; pedestrian/ bike paths and ferries.
• Partner with public and private entities to effect efficiencies and develop future projects.
• Institute a Parks Department. Promote an enlarged waterfront park downtown and develop the waterfront walkway behind Westbay. Work closely with McCormick Woods residents to develop the large parcel originally set aside for a park there.
• Plan, and hopefully build, a new, larger, enhanced building for our library.
